Kwartz is back in our label with this four tracker. If you are familiar with his sound you will notice a huge evolution in his skills and style. This work means his maturity in the studio, his attention to detail and nuances, his carefully crafted way of sculpting structures, beats and textures, defines a new approach to techno where harshness is aside and brightness is the leitmotiv.
First cut is A tragic end, panned atmospheres, bright hats and percussions, grey kicks that appear after a beatless introduction and hypnotic sequences. arranged in a non conventional way. Liquid, mental and cold.
Right discipline goes straight to the beat, using mainly drum parts in every frequency, showing the elements in a sequential way, no breaks, no predictable changes, intelligent groove architecture on behalf of a massive mix tool.
Dissociation of body and mind is the peak moment in this release, monotone sequences constantly mangled and twisted over a percussive galore salted with resonant bleeps and synth workout.
Theory of empiness is based again on a relentless beat until drones and atmospheres appear and run thru the stereo field. Echoed alien drums show up at the end filling the reverberated space with danceable noises.
